DEEP FIBREGLASS BLADES are hand made by Matt Mas a specialist manufacturer of composite fin blades with over 20 years of experience.  They don't build boats, they don't make bike frames or car parts, they just make the best quality fin blades for spearfishing, freediving, commercial diving, underwater hockey, and fin swimming.

DEEP FIBREGLASS BLADES are available in various camo colours including Green, Rock, and Sea Blue.  Colours are located within the layers of the composite and will therefore not scratch off.

Now with polyurethane coated heals for protection against grit build up which occurs between the footpocket and the blade.

The most important performance feature of your blades is its taper.  When selecting blades, raise them to the light and count the number of layers along the length of the blade.  DEEP FIBREGLASS BLADES are designed with a highly advanced taper comprising 10 layers of a specialised fine woven fabric and resin system (most other blades have 6 or less). They have developed over many years of research to achieve an unsurpassed performance. The latest modification, a rounded tip replaces the traditional scalloped tip, improves dynamics and usability.

The blade design provides a considerable improvement in the distribution of force right to the blade tip. It increases the reaction of the blade (its recovery memory), which all translates into increased power, efficiency, and energy transfer.

The heal end of each blade is angled to match the angle of most footpockets. This keeps the blades stress free and in their natural position at rest.

The high performance materials used are very tough and light weight. The lighter weight of each blade eliminates the problem of sinking feet whilst breathing up on the surface which is experienced with the use of many other fibreglass blades.

The long edges of each blade are fitted with flexible rubber channels.  This ads stability and allows the blade to work a greater amount of water whilst kicking.

No other fin blade can match the extra power and performance generated versus energy expended. These blades power along in current; are easily manoeuvrable around reef and in surge; and effortlessly transport a diver into the deep and back to the surface.

DEEP FIBREGLASS BLADES can be fitted to any footpocket.  They do not need to be drilled to be fitted to footpockets. This eliminates any week points that can arise from drilling screw holes.  Detailed fitting instructions are supplied with every pair.

The MEDIUM stiffness blade offers very high performance. They are an efficient and powerful blade and will provide their owner with a substantial improvement to their diving. These blades are best suited to most divers of average build and strength.

The power output from these blades is exceptional. They are very fast in the water, very responsive at all depths, and develop great grip in surge and white water.
